WHO'S IN CHARGE HERE?

Well … first and foremost YOU ARE! The Mad Hatter’s Parade is an open-source, participatory happening. Anyone can join – make something and wear it, or help animate the works of others.

The Mad Hatters' Parade was instigated by Alex Kahn and Sophia Michahelles of Processional Arts Workshop (whose giant puppets lead NYC’s Halloween Parade and Rhinebeck's Sinterklaas Parade and other processions around the world). Guided by our Ministry of Silly Walks, a loosely-hinged cabal of makers & connectors, we are gathering an amazing group of collaborators – including Hudson youth programs, local artists and entrepreneurs, and even a class of socially-engaged art students – to bring the 1st Annual Mad Hatter’s Parade to the streets.

Hats off to to our amazing collaborators and supporters…
